Experience the magic of game viewing from “lighter-than-air flight” over the Reserve. Our pilots and guides will ensure a safe, enjoyable and informative adventure that will be one of the highlights of your Safari. After a safety briefing you should be airborne in time to witness the sunrise. Then a change in altitude to search for a favorable wind that will allow you to drift gently over the landscape. When game is spotted, the main burners will be switched over to a “stealth”-burner so as not to disturb the animals. The experience is unforgettable.
Day trips to the bordering Kruger Park can be arranged. The trip is a full day excursion and Lunches can be arranged. A stunning experience.
...is the act of rappelling down a vertical or near-vertical face with the aid of a rope, harness and friction device. One needs no prior experience, just a sense of adventure and a willingness to step out over the edge. We have access to abseil sites from 25 to 60m high in the Blyde Canyon, the Olifants Gorge and a fabulous granite pinnacle at Sorabi Rock Lodge near Mica.
We use 2-person "Croc Rafts" made By African River Kraft. These forgiving boats are ideal for our river conditions, from the mild Lower Blyde to the challenging Blyde Canyon. Participants paddle their own boats (2 per boat) and guides go along in their own craft. Each participant is issued with a buoyancy aid, a helmet and, of course, a two-bladed paddle. |
